She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin McKinney Knight; her mother Helen Brashier Jenkins; her sister Becky Cooper; and her aunts, Myrtle Goodnough and Kara "Aunt Kit" Brashier.

She is survived by: her stepfather Jack Jenkins of Simpsonville; her sons, Ken Knight (Suzanne) and Phil Knight (Hara); her brother Wilson Jenkins; and her grandchildren, Jake Knight (Alison), Erin Calderon (Roberto), Abel Knight, Joel Knight (Katherine), Anna Castleberry (Drew), Luke Knight, Seth Knight (Molly) and Ruth Tucker (Grant). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
