He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Eugene Lockhart and Gladys Price Lockhart; and his brother Roy Lockhart. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Harvey Lockhart; his son Curtis Lockhart (Sherri); his grandchildren, Diamond Lockhart (Billy Crowder), Jonathan Lockhart, Amber Tapley and Allison Schofield; his great grandchildren, Chelbi Lockhart, Jayden Babson, Emberlyn Schofield, Paisley Tapley and Weston Harrell; his sister Donna Bachtel; and his niece Cathy Eaves.
