He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Mitchell Davis, Sr. and Mattie Lou Childress Davis; his son Tony Davis; and his siblings, Jimmy Davis, Carlos Davis, Landrum Davis, Grady Davis, Shelby Jean Haggard, Matha "Mott" Harvey and Marion Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Della Smith Davis; his daughter Lynn Green (Bill); his brother Ed Davis; his grandchildren, Andrew Green and Elizabeth Blunt (Bostin); and his great grandchildren, Leilani, Keith, Aria, Robert, Aiden, Alex and Riley.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 123 W. Antrim Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
