She is survived by: her husband Kermit Hunter Patterson Jr. (Buddy); her daughters, Emily Porter (Daniel) and Cheri Nguyen (Shaun); her sister Johnna Vicente (Juan); and her grandchildren, Weston Nguyen, Savanna Nguyen, Ashton Porter, Morgan Porter and Victoria Porter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
