The memory of Tommy Ross Rorie Sr. of Fort Mill, South Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loe Bonnie and Mary C Rorie; his son Tommy Ross Rorie, Jr.; and his siblings, Connie Roghelia, Ethel Hussey, Alice Hussey, Mary W. Hintz, Gladys Chasak, Dorothy Lesinak, Harvey Warren Rorie, James Rorie and William Rorie.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene C Rorie of Fort Mill, SC; and his children, Elizabeth Page (Norman) of Surfside, SC and Craig D Rorie (Sharon) of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four step – grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church (292 Munn Rd E, Fort Mill, SC 29708).
Tommy also dedicated his time to the United Way and the American Cancer Society, achieving the role of Lt. Governor for the state of Arizona for the later, where he tirelessly advocated for cancer awareness and support.
