She was predeceased by: her parents, John Louis Merritt and Clemence Janette Griffin; and her grandson Jason Kohut. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie James, Karen Kohut (Sandy) and Laura Bailey (Robert); her grandchildren, Jennifer Jonah, Chrissy McCurry (Kyle) and Matthew Kohut; and her great grandchildren, Colton Jonas, Addison Jonas, Damon Farrari and Carson McCurry.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Park - Cherry Road (620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 105 Brickyard Road, Fort Mill, SC..
