She was predeceased by: her mother Clara Johnson Braswell of Newberry. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Sherwood W. Barefoot, Jr. of Fort Mill; her father William "Bill" Euzema Braswell, Sr.; her siblings, Jo Carole McCaughrin (Robert) and William E. Braswell, Jr. of Newberry; her daughters, Carrie Kinley (Jason) of Sugar Hill, Georgia, Heather Owens (Jeremiah) of Taylors and Stephanie Lynn Rogers of Charlotte; her stepchildren, Andrew Barefoot of Granbury, Thomas Barefoot of Charleston and Susan Goodykoontz of Phoenix; her grandchildren, Abby, Connor, Carson Kinley of Sugar Hill and James David Owens, II of Taylors; and her nieces, Clara Natalea McCaughrin of Newberry and Anna Claire Braswell of Columbia. She is also survived by nine step-grandchildren.
