He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walko and Twila Markalonis Walko; and his brother Ed Walko. He is survived by: his wife Mary Walko (Mulgrew); his grandchildren, Ava Clark, Ellis Hylton and Mitchell Hylton; and his siblings, Joe Walko (Linda), Rosemary Frizzell (Arlie), Marilyn Joffe (Steve) and Suncha Walko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
