She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Butler; and her parents, Thelma Butler and Wilton Hill. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Sumner; her grandchildren, Ben and Brianna Brickle; her brother Buster Hill (Linda); her nephews, Rob Hill (Nikki) and Brad Hill (Dianne); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Veronica, Scarlett, Xan, Blake Hill (Morgan) and Seth Larsen; and also Jaxton Hill.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Palmetto Funeral Home (2049 Carolina Pl, Fort Mill, SC 29708). A reception was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Charity of choice in her name to continue her legacy of compassion and giving.
