She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Columbus Whitesides and Ruth Crafton Whitesides; her husband Johnny D. Gibson; and her sister Phyllis W. Cauthen. She is survived by: her children, John A. Gibson of Ballantyne and Pamela G. Huckabee (Manning); her sister Brenda W. Stowe of Fort Mill; her granddaughters, Christy H. Booty, Jessica L. Jolly (Nick) and Alexandria D. McFadden (Keenon); and her great grandchildren, Weston, Claire, Nolan and Lola.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's U. M. C. Fellowship Hall (130 Tom Hall St, Fort Mill, SC 29715). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. John's United Methodist Church (130 Tom Hall St, Fort Mill, SC 29715).
