He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Porte and Dorothy Crocker Porte; and his brother Carl W. Porte. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Caron Porte; his children, Michelle Porte Travis (Andrew) and Andrew James Porte; his siblings, Audrey Porte Rose and Glenys Porte Dwyer; and his grandsons, Zachary Travis, Matthew Travis and Bryan Travis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
