With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jackson C. Newell (Fort Mill, South Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Newell and Mary Newell; his wife Shirley Newell; and his brother Rev. Roger Newell. He is survived by: his sons, Evans Newell (Cynthia) of Kennesaw and Ragan Newell Sr. (Melissa) of Greensboro; his brothers, John Newell (Linda) of Edmunds Township and Doug Newell (Lawana) of Enid, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Wojslawowicz (Matt), John Newell (Mary), Ragan Newell, Jr. (Kylene), Jessica Cromer (Kevin) and Elizabeth Newell; and his great grandchildren, Finnleigh, Jackson, Riley and Ella.
