She was predeceased by: her parents, Jame Monroe Merritt (Lockie) and Evelyn Mills; and her sister Frances Merritt Boulware (Jefferson) of Fort Mill. She is survived by: her husband John David Garver; her children, Sara Frances Garver (Sally) of Fort Mill, Katherine Ann Rassmussen (Andrew) of Somonauk, IL and Ashley Elizabeth Pughes (Sean); her granddaughter Lexi Ashton Pughes; and her sister Judith Merritt Terrell (Judy) of Indian Land, SC..
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Et Unity Presbyterian Church (303 Tom Hall St, Fort Mill, SC 29715). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
