He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Robert and Ruby Pitzer. He is survived by : his wife Patti; his sister Shirley Hannigan of New Bern; and his children, Charles Robert Pitzer of Springfield, Virginia, Natalie Andrea Pitzer of Falls Church, Virginia and Christopher Ryan Pitzer of Atlanta. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
