He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Earl Bearden and Mary Jane Burkett Bearden. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hinson Bearden; and his children, Lisa Sloan (John) of Lewisville, NC, Jeff Bearden (Miriam) of Asheville, NC and Julie Merritt (Brad) of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by 4 step children; 7 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
