Caroline Carter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Caroline Carter of Fort Mill, South Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Carter and Louise "Easie" Carter; and her sisters, Sylvia "Cokey" Hayes and Sandra Louise Carter. She is survived by: her sons, Patrick McCrain (Cindy) of Fort Mill, SC, Matt McCrain (Sharry) of Charlotte, NC and Jason McCrain (Cassie) of Charlotte, NC; and her grandchildren, Shelby McCrain, Carter McCrain, Lily McCrain, Casey McCrain, Wesley Russell, TJ Russell and Maddie McCrain. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to a charitable organization of your choosing.
