She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Polston and Lillian Blackman Polston; and her son Charles Veal. She is survived by: her husband James Darrel Helms; her daughter Elizabeth Brazwell (Bubba); her siblings, Charles T. Polston and Mary Brazwell; and her granddaughter Tiffany Brazwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wolfe Funeral Home (314 Spratt St, Fort Mill, SC 29715).
