It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendy Pettit Higgins of Fort Lawn, South Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Avis Pettit, Sr. and Barbara Webb Pettit; her son David Samuel Higgins, III; and her brother William Avis Pettit, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Kerri Catoe (Andy) of Fort Lawn; her grandchildren, Abagail Catoe, Andrew Catoe and Aldon Catoe; her great grandchild Rylee Austin; her stepdaughter Jennifer Harris of New York; her sister Angela Pettit Harrison of Fort Lawn; her niece Emily Harrison of Fort Lawn; and her nephew Jay Harrison of Fort Lawn.
