He is survived by: his wife Phoebe Osborne Pettit; his daughters, Tanya Pettit and Dawn Pettit; his grandchildren, Sydney Ferrell, Marley Ferrell, Kinsley Cook and Kaden Payne; his great grandchild Heaven Cook; and his siblings, Sharon Knight and Darryl Pettit.
