She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles M. Lucas and Rose Eva Collins Lucas; her husband Lenwood O. Benton; and her daughter Brenda Rose Benton. She is survived by: her children, Charles M. Benton of Colfax, NC, Betty Jean Sellers (Don) of Wadesboro, NC and Shirley Diane Tice (Ralph) of Wadesboro, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
