He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rumford and Edythe Stevers Rumford; and his son Jeffery Allen "Jeff" Rumford. He is survived by: his wife Sara Rumford; his son James Russell "Russ" Rumford (Lisa); his grandchildren, Lindsey Childers (Kyle) and Brantley Rumford (Bailey); and his great grandchildren, Lane Childers and Reed Childers.
