We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2020, at the age of 84, Jesse James Outen of Fort Jackson, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Wilbert Outen, Sr. and Nezzie Branch Outen; his daughter Donna Outen; and his siblings, Wilbert Jr., Malachi, Ronald, Isom Outen, Corine Monroe and Gloria Ferell.

He is survived by: his wife Carrie Riley Outen; his stepson Harvey Riley; his children, Vernard Martin, Gregory Outen, Jesse Christopher Outen, Janie Lee Gale, Reverend Olivia Wilson, Amy Hancock, Dana Outen and Nicole McCune; and his siblings, Reverend Lawrence Outen, Berkley Outen, Irene Wilson and Patricia Gentry. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
