She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lee Amaker and Julia McNeal Amaker; her husbands, Daniel Etheredge and Arthur Smith, Sr.; her son Arthur Smith, Jr.; her grandchildren, Baashila S. Rodgers, Magdalene K. Anderson and Tarsha M. Sanders; and her siblings, Furman, Herbert, Alton, Robert, Mary and Maxine.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria D. Etheredge of Lithonia, GA, Patricia E. Rodgers (Windell) of Pelzer, SC and Danny A. Etheredge of Columbia, SC; and her stepdaughters, Theresa Stone of Fayetteville, NC and Deborah Anderson of Cayce, SC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
