He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Hulon and Annie Turner Hulon; and his siblings, Bennie Leon Hulon, Earl David Hulon, Millie Hodges and Judy Diane Hamilton.

He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Hayes of Dillon, Nancy Goodwin of Ramseur, NC, Clara Thomas of Vinton, VA, Martha Summerford of Dillon, Wanda Dimery (Johnny) of Nichols and Angie Batton (Bobby) of Marion.
