She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira B. Huggins and Mamie McQueen Huggins; her husband Preston Monroe Blanton, Jr.; and her siblings, Howard Huggins, Claude Huggins, Clayton Huggins, Bright Huggins, Mildred Harrelson, Hazel Hinson, Flora McGougan and Voncile Huggins.
She is survived by: her children, Preston Monroe Blanton III (Pam) of Moncks Corner, SC and Beverly Blanton Parsons (George) of Georgetown, SC; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Blanton Hughes (Bryan), Michael Blanton, Hannah Parsons and Rebekah Parsons (Cody Floyd); her great grandchild Amelia Hughes; and her sisters, Lottie Ann Jones (Howard) of Bessemer City, NC and Betty Grainger (Junior) of Tabor City, NC.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
