He is survived by: his spouse Jenelle Valerie Beach Grooms; his children, Melissa Lyerly of Hendersonville, NC, Katherine Nemeth (Chris) of Johns Island and Robert Grooms (Casey) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Tyler Sharer, Brittany Lawrimore, Mackie Lyerly, Harper Nemeth, Logan Nemeth and Malory Grooms; and his brother Ronald Grooms (Judy) of Shelbyville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
