It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Hanner of Folly Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sigurd Hanner of Folly Beach; her son Jeffrey; and her siblings, Walt and Ruth. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Hunt, Lisa Barnell and Mark Hanner (Jackie); her grandchildren, Brian Baker (Adrienne), Valerie Howell (Scott), Abby Brown (Trey), Kristen Moisio, Jessica Moisio, Jake Haynes and Samuel Haynes; her great grandchildren, Donovan, Clara, Josephine Howell, Lucas, Natalie Brown and Adalyn Baker; and her sister Martha McLain. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory can be made to St. Paul's Anglican in Summerville, SC or Folly Beach United Methodist Church.
