It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duke Warren of Folly Beach, South Carolina, born in McClellanville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Townsend Warren and Elizabeth Pauline Duke Warren; and his brother John Morrison Warren. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Elizabeth Clark of Folly Beach, SC; his children, Nancy McQueen Hussey (William Dalton Warren), Sally Warren and Bill; his grandchildren, Curtis O. Mitchell III (Jennifer), Sarah Elizabeth McQueen Mitchell, Charles Thomas Hussey, Jr. (Paige), Timothy Merrick Hussey (Elise), Michael Jason Hussey and Dalton John Warren; his great grandchildren, Duke Moseley Reagan, Foster Legare Mitchell, Birdie McQueen Mitchell, Charles Knox Hussey, Marlowe Evelyn Hussey, Merrick Elise Hussey and Leora Lennox Hussey; his siblings, Dalton Townsend Warren, Jr. (Bette Baker), Nancy Legare Warren Clarke (Erskine), Roberta Rivers Warren Baker (Butch) and Billie Fulton Warren Tomberlin (Steve); and his godchildren, Langston Moore and Saachi Beatrice Edwards.

Because of covid-19 concerns, the date for a celebration of Duke's life will be announced at a later time.
