He is survived by: his children, Laura Ann Brogan (Scott) of Hollywood, Melissa Goudelock (Adam) of Gaffney and Clifton W. Benson III (Kristin) of Charleston; his siblings, Richard L. Benson (Dorothy), John Michael Benson, Sr. (Denna) and Cheryl Ann Benson Schoettner (Thomas); his grandchildren, Britney Goudelock, Kayla Mosley, Selena Benson (Jimmy), Scarlett Goudelock, Kelsi Morrow, Jacob Benson, Tyler Connolly, Andi Young and Clifton W. Benson IV (TJ); his great grandchild Melody Lynch; and his pet Sam.
