She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Thomas Sanderson and Rozella Moody Sanderson of Lake View, SC; her husband Kever R. Benton of Floyd Dale; and her siblings, Thomas Gerald Sanderson and Joyce Ann Sanderson Walker.
She is survived by: her siblings, Billy Sanderson, Martha Sanderson Thompson and Betty Jo Sanderson Carmichael; her children, Susan Benton Love (Bill), William Thomas Benton (Teresa) and Allison Benton-Jones (Schuyler); and her grandchildren, Trey Benton, Eryn Benton Bullock, Anna Benton Love Thigpen, John Kever Love, Benton S. Jones and Carstenn W. Jones.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kannaday Funeral Home (1252 SC-57, Dillon, SC 29536). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
