He is survived by: his wife Mary Cooper Kirby; his daughters, Michelle Johnson (Kodey) and Kelsey Kirby; his siblings, Terry Chapman (Alicia), Lori Sattele (Kevin), Elizabeth "Libby" Kirby and Jackie Howell; his grandchildren, Layton, Wyett and Rivers; and his cousin Charles "Chuck" Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
