He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wheeler Baird and Annie Eunice Baird; his son Chip Baird; and his siblings, Mae Andrews, Geneva Witherspoon, Floreed Pelfrey, Inez Baird, Carolyn Schilling and Jerome Baird.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jennifer Baird; his grandson-in-law James Baird of Lebanon Ohio; and his brother Tommy Morris (Sally Baker) of Turbeville.
