It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Morris Rhodes Jr. of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to William Morris' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration William Morris has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Jason Hoffmeyer Rhodes; his parents, William Morris Rhodes, Sr. and Agnes Hoffmeyer Rhodes; his wife Rene'e Cannon Rhodes; his children, Scarlett O'Neal Rhodes Collins and William Morris Rhodes, III (Marshall); his children-in-law, Gregory Collins and Tracy Rhodes; and his grandchildren, William Morris Rhodes, IV (Little Jason), Violet Elizabeth Clardy, Lillian Blair Rhodes, Caleb Rhodes Clardy and Mila Noel Rhodes.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery (621 N Ebenezer Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
