He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Hamer Hoffmeyer and William Julius Hoffmeyer; and his brother Price Hoffmeyer. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Margaret Hoffmeyer; his children, Tom, Meg, Johanna, Jim, Price and John; and his close friends, Janis Munnerlyn, Robert Floyd and Harriett Floyd.
