It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Ellie Mims in Florence, South Carolina, born in Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Roy Mims and Elizabeth "Norris" Mims Green; and his brother Thomas R. Mims Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, William E. Mims, Jr. of Lynchburg, Troy Mims (Chrystal) of Sumter and Timmy Mims (Aimee) of Sumter.
