It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Byers Greer Jr. of Florence, South Carolina, born in Union, South Carolina, who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Byers and Nancy Meador Greer; and his stepparents, Carolyn Ouzts Greer Mayhew and Richard Lewis Mayhew. He is survived by: his wife Kay Tennyson; his sisters, Peggy Shealy (Terry) of St. Helena Island, SC and Lucy Tevepaugh (David) of Chapin, SC; and his aunt Lea Weed. He is also survived by his nephews, niece, and many cousins.
