With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William A. Powers Jr. (Florence, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Sr. Powers and Elizabeth Humphrey Powers; and his wife Nellie Ray Holladay Powers. He is survived by: his daughters, Scarlett Browning, Kathy Horahan (Brian) and Sharon Glover. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501).
