She was predeceased by: her parents, Zackary Hancock and Ida Belle Jones Hancock; and her husband John Thomas DeLung. She is survived by: her children, Jeff DeLung (Mary), John Thomas and Vanessa Kelly (Foye); her siblings, Zackary Taylor Hancock, Jackie Scarbro and Sara Kirk; and her grandchildren, Brandi Varnadore, Eric Anderson, Chasity Padgett, John Russell DeLung, Jacob Thomas DeLung, Jeffrey DeLung and Alexis DeLung. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
