It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Robert Sharpe (Florence, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Evans and A. Z. Sharpe; his daughter Susanne Hope Sharpe; and his brother Larry Sharpe. He is survived by: his wife Deborah H. Sharpe; his daughters, Stephanie Sharpe Green (Cliff) of Waxhaw, NC and Julie Sharpe Knight of Florence; his sisters, Angie Jones (Mike) of Florence and Sharon Furniss (David) of Taylors, SC; and his grandchildren, Alexander Knight of Charleston, SC, Mary Hodges Knight of Florence, Harrison Green of Nashville, TN and Hannah Green of Waxhaw, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (167 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29501).
