It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Luther Thompson of Florence, South Carolina, born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Luther Thompson and Ion Doreen Reardon; his wife Rosa Lee Stone; and his siblings, William Elmore Thompson, Daniel Prentice Thompson and Jessie Curry.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Luther Thompson, Jr., W. Prentice Thompson, Woodrow Wayne Thompson and Sandra K. Stewart (Ben); and his grandchildren, Tanya Fuller, Cheray B. Horton, Laura Pusser (Jay), Emily Finklea (Tom) and Clay Windham (Katelyn). He is also survived by 6 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
