He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Allison and Edna Johnson Thames; his parents-in-law, Carlisle, Jr. and Janie Lee Coker; his siblings, Dorothy Cockerill of Sumter, Caroline Cody of Sumter, Gladys Timmons of Sumter, Betty Ann Hatchell of Mount Pleasant, Frank Thames of Sumter and Harold Thames of Tennessee; and his brother-in-law Rob Coker of Turbeville.
He is survived by: his wife Debby Coker Thames; his daughter Tara; his son-in-law Trent McKenzie; his granddaughters, Sarah Hayden McKenzie of Florence, Brooks Coker McKenzie of Florence and Carolina Thames McKenzie of Florence; his siblings, Jennifer Kolb of Sumter and James "Pete" Thames of Sumter; his aunt Nancy Coker McFaddin; his children, Muff McFaddin, Coco Floyd, Mandy Flynn, Cyle Coker and Nikki Hendrick; and his caregivers, Mauro, Eduardo, Selvin and Jaime.
