She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Pennell and Barbara Ann Helms Pennell. She is survived by: her husband Charles Nycum; her children, Courtney Nycum, Trevor Nycum, Ashley Stone, Terri Shwartz, Bobbie Strickland and Sunny Hughes; and her siblings, Charles Pennell, Tony Pennell and Angel Ragsdale. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (100 Cherokee Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
