It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Williams Hickey of Florence, South Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Newton Williams and Mary Elizabeth Jenkins Williams; and her husband Edward James Hickey, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Edward James "Jamie" Hickey, Jr. (Kelly) and Erik W. Hickey (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, Dylon Hickey (Kristen), Justin, Kai, Kimo, Allie, Mary Beth and Gracie; her great grandchild Eli; her sisters-in-law, Emma Huggins and Carol Hickey; and her sisters, Shelley Felder (Charles) and Marcie Price.

“I knew Sandra and Eddie all the way back to High School. They were always in love and never gave a care for any other relationship. I was a police officer in Florence and later worked for Eddie at the department of mental retardation. They were inseparable and one of the very very few couple to ever fall in love and High School and survive 50 years later. They were both wonderful and giving people to read both Eddie and Sandra will be greatly missed by their fellow yellow jackets of high school.”
