She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Lovette and Sallie Strickland Lovette; her husband Norman L. Thiem; her sons, Chuck and Kenneth Thiem; and her siblings, Gracie Turbeville, JD Lovette, Guy Lovette and C. Lovette.
She is survived by: her children, Norman Lee Thiem (Joan), Sally Thiem, Jenny Williams (Randell) and Lisa Theim-Sutton (Tony); and her grandchildren, Matthew Thiem, Christopher Thiem, Emily Nabors (Matthew), Andrew Thiem, Randell Williams (Allyn), Emily Hicks (Ryan), Jennifer-Grace Boyer (Mike) and Allison Thiem Hartley (Scott). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home (512 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
