It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Lynn Barnes of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Smith and Ruby Smith. She is survived by: her husband Randy; her children, David Barnes (Mandy) and Kimberly Barnes Richardson (Martin); and her grandchildren, Landen, Madelynn Barnes, Logan, Jessie and Megan Richardson. She is also survived by mother and a grandmother.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Baptist Church (2401 Claussen Rd, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (1806 US-76, Marion, SC 29571).
Memorials may be made in honor of Ruby Lynn Barnes to the McLeod Hospice House of Florence, SC in care of The Butterfly Fund at 1203 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.
