It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosaland DeAnn Thornhill-Moore of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allia Mae Collins Purvis and Willard Alexander Purvis; her former husband John "Sonny" Thornhill; her husband Stephen Randolph Moore; her brother Willard Wayne "Billy" Purvis; and her brother-in-law Larry Blank.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Thornhill Lee (Nelson) and John "Johnny" Thornhill; her stepchildren, Lennie Moore, Cliff Moore, Sherrie Moore and Randy Moore; her grandchildren, Whitney Lee Vovou (Andrew), Alex Lee (Allie), Beatriz and Byran Jordan; her great grandchildren, Wesley Ganes, Stavros "Stavie" Vovou and Kirby Lee; and her siblings, Scott Purvis (Belva), Silvia Turbeville (Jack), Nancy Blank and Kay Matthews (Jimmy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
