With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Beam of Florence, South Carolina, born in Cherryville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Webb and Eva Julia Beam; his wife Frankie Helms Beam; and his siblings, Joyce Beam, James Robert Beam and Jane Beam Helms.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Beam Avant (John) of Florence, SC, Julia Beam Sander (Charlie) of Mount Pleasant, SC and David Brently Beam (Sharon) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Christie Sander Yantis (Steve), John Brandon Avant (Casey), Meredith Ann Sander, James Heath Beam (Fotini) and Ronald Brooks Avant; and his great grandchildren, Riley Julia Davies, Charlotte Ann Davies, Bailey Grace Avant, Dylan Mackenize Avant and Jamison George Sander. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
