He is survived by: his wife Berttie Bullard Miles; his daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Miles Payne (Vince) of Florence and Kimberly Miles Blum (Chris) of Florence; his niece Jessica Rowland (Russ) of Lamar; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Wesley, Liam and Thomas; his grandchildren, Tori Payne of Florence, Sarah Payne of Charleston, Miles Blum of Florence and Chase Blum of Florence; his brothers, Jay Miles (Lou) of Lake City and Legran Miles (Rosemary) of Florence; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Bullard (Pamela) of Florence, Mazie White of Florence and Karen Miles of Walhalla. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel (2308 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
