She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy and Mary Thelma Brown; and her brother Billy Brown. She is survived by: her husband Marion Gainey; her children, Marion Gainey, III (Courtney), William Shayne Gainey, Adam Gainey, Benji McDonald and Katie Gainey; her siblings, Jason Brown (Grace), Todd Brown, Albert "Bert" Coleman, Susan Owens (Bobby), Rhonda Griffith and Michelle Braswell; and her grandchildren, Anya Gainey, Emory Gainey and Lucas Gainey.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
