He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Best, Sr. and Doris Smith; and his siblings, Gregg Best and Charlotte Aceball. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Kimberly Jordan (Matt); his brother Stephen Best (Melissa); and his stepmother Libby Best.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (1356 S Pineland Dr, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Florence National Cemetery (1009 Stockade Dr, Florence, SC 29506).
